AFMH was created by employers who want policymakers to focus more time and energy addressing the problem of high health care costs and the flaws that drive those costs in Wisconsin. Only Wisconsin employers make up its Leadership Council, and the employers that join are committing to a multi-year effort to make employer voices heard in Madison and Washington D.C.
Our Legislative Agenda will improve the market for buying health care in Wisconsin. It focuses on price transparency, access to data and accountability which are the fundamentals of free market healthcare.
We’ll focus on high-impact issues that have a chance to move forward or that serve the purpose of raising awareness about high healthcare prices and their impact on Wisconsinites. To be successful, we need employers to join our effort and add their voices to our message.
